Consent to Credit & Employment Verification
What you agree to when you tick the verification consent box on the application form.
1. What we verify
This section must set out: Employment, salary, existing commitments and identity.
2. Who we contact
This section must set out: Employer or HR, the bank the salary is paid into, and any credit reference bureau.
3. What we disclose to them
This section must set out: The minimum disclosed in order to verify, and that we do not disclose the loan amount to third parties beyond what is necessary.
4. How long this consent lasts
This section must set out: The period the consent covers and whether it survives settlement.
5. Withdrawing consent
This section must set out: How to withdraw, and the consequence - that we may be unable to proceed with the application.
Once approved wording is supplied it is inserted here and this notice is removed. Each section is stored separately so it can be updated without rebuilding the site.
